So many people are making videos for the Harlem Shake and although some of them are good, I feel that one takes the cake. My buddy Matthew Pritchard (from Dirty Sanchez) joined the guys from Universal Fitness and this is what they made … he is the one in the front with the SWYD wife-beater, tophat, funny glasses, speedo and boots while rocking some weights.
My buddy, Brendan, made a bear costume for a personal project we are working on and I thought it would be a good idea to take it out of storage when it snowed a few weeks ago. We headed to Morden Hall Park SUPER early in the morning to play a bit. The few people walking through the park to work thought we were mental.

Recently, Muse held a competition on genero.tv for people to create a music video for their next single “Animals” and the winner would have their video become the official video for the single.
My buddy Brendan and I had a day to spare so we got right on it, involving a few of our really good friends including Tyron from the band What Now.
The thought behind our entry was to show the great contrast between the upper and lower class of the world … showing that our perception is often incorrect and that the “rich” can be animals, often more than the “poor”.
We shot the entire video using a Nikon D800 and a Nikon D600 with Nikon Prime lenses.
This is our entry …
Today I realised that it’s been exactly 4 years since I landed in the UK, with my beautiful wife (and best friend), to move to London and start a new life together.
It was one of the biggest and most scary things I’ve ever done and it really hasn’t been easy but it’s definitely been the best thing I’ve ever done and I couldn’t have done it without my girl.
In the last 4 years I’ve met, worked and made friends with some incredible people … all who have helped welcome me and make this worthwhile.
I feel honoured to be able to live in a city that has so much to offer and still as in love with it as I was when I first came here 12 years ago to visit.
I miss my family like crazy every day which is always hard but I’ll keep working and saving to go back to visit them as much as I can.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who’s ever been cool, for welcoming me, involving me and opening my eyes to this beautiful city … and the world as a whole.
Here’s to many more years in this beautiful country.

I don’t often do stuff like this, although I think about it quite a lot, so I thought I’d make a plan before the year officially ends.
There have been SO many great album releases for me this year and it’s hard to list my favourites but without thinking about it for too long I’m going to just list the first 10 that pop into mind.
They are (in no particular order) :
1) Anberlin – Vital
2) Two Door Cinema Club – Beacon
3) Young Guns – Bones
4) Die Antwoord – Ten$Ion
5) Enter Shikari – A Flash Flood Of Colour
6) Metric – Synthetica
7) Don Broco – Priorities
8) Canterbury – Heavy In The Day
9) The Spindle Sect – Bubonictronic
10) Hot Water Music – Exister
Let’s hope that next year will be as good a year for music … I have a feeling it will be having already heard 3 great albums coming out soon.
What were your favourites? Please let me know so I can check them
out.
I started skateboarding about 15 years ago and over the years I stopped and started a bunch of times only because life gets in the way and things happen and change … it’s not a bad thing but lately I have been really missing it. It’s weird because I have been skating again for about the last year but have really battled to make time for it so it’s not really happened as much as I like … even though I am really enjoying it again.
I guess that essentially skateboarding has definitely been the biggest “shaper” of who I am as a person. It taught me to be free, got me into the music that I listen to, started my interest in photography, allowed me to meet my wife, showed me the world (or at least a lot more of it than I would’ve seen without it) and generally built the character that I am.
I set up a scene in my friends warehouse a few weeks back and setup some light so that he could shoot a photo of me so that I can look at it and keep motivated. I want to try and get back into it more from the new year.
Anyway, I recently watched the Bones Brigade autobiography documentary and that’s motivated it even more.
Here’s to skateboarding. Haha.

I photographed some new press images for the guys from What Now a few days ago around the city of London. It was a really chilly night in the city and we had a great time exploring locations near the river. I really enjoy working with these guys and we decided to shoot a “wrap” photo together at the end of the shoot … this is it.

I’ve been working on a personal photography project and have spent a lot of time exploring the city with my camera … something that I get to do less than I would like to.
I shot this photo of Tower Bridge during sunset and it was a really beautiful cold winter evening which resulted in a purple-ish sky like I have never seen before.
Definitely one of my favourite spots of the city.

My buddy, Alastair, and I have been skating quite a lot together in the last year and he pushes me loads again which is super fun. I worked on a shoot the other day and had some props left over so thought it would be cool to use a few of them for something personal before we get rid of them. I had an idea in mind and we shot these photos the other night. The only difference in lighting between the two is the use of a purple gel on the back light in the first one. Kickflip and pop-shuvit … in that order.
It’s good every now and then to shoot something that isn’t a commissioned work piece to keep the “passion” I have for photography there.
