The last few weeks have been amazing and have really reminded me why I love music so much. I have shot some really cool promo photos with bands that are definitely on their way up and I will be releasing those photographs when the bands are ready with those. In the mean time, here are a few photographs from some of the live shows that I have shot for either print / online magazines, band pr or the actual bands themselves. All were amazing for sure.

I hope that you are all well. I just have to add that I went to Marks & Spencers and Sainsburys earlier today and I am SO excited at how much stuff they already have for Halloween. Bound to be a good time.

Anyway, I am telling you all of this because during the time they were being followed around by the guys from Pocket TV filming a tour diary of sorts during their Oxford stay and I just got sent the video which came out really rad. You can see me shooting with the band in the rain on the roof (around 2min35) and then again snippets of me shooting the show during their live set.

If you are at all a PR fan then you should watch the video so you can get to know them a little bit more and if you aren’t you should watch it anyway and see me hard at work, I think the video will interest you enough to want to give them a listen which will be worth it in the end. Some people say they are arrogant but I never saw this during the time we spent with them. It wasn’t long but don’t always believe what you read.

This is one of the portrait shots (see more here) that I shot and below is one of the live shots (see more here). You really need to see the portraits high resolution to appreciate them because it was raining quite hard and you can see each of the drops. If you care to see a higher res image, contact me and I will send it on to you.

These are my favourites from the show although it was one of the hardest shows I have ever shot because it was SO dark.

The lighting was quite hard to work with because the stage is mostly back-lit and I don’t really enjoy shooting in that condition but I made do with what was available and feel there are some good shots.

This weekend is a really busy one shooting for me so I will update a lot as I go along. I hope you are all well. Marcus

They were amazing and so super humble and that makes me like them even more. I love it so much when bands remember where they came from and thank their listeners for getting them to where they are because without them bands would never get big. These are a few of the photographs that I shot during the show, I have a whole lot more and will try sort through them later and try add a few more if I get a chance. This was super fun job to work on and I met some really nice people that I hope to see and / work with again. I have to also add that The Royal Albert Hall is one of the most amazing venues I have ever been to and probably the best live venue if I really think about it.
