I shot a KFD tour a while back and some of the photos were published in an Australian magazine called Wooden Toy. It is such an amazing magazine and it just gets better and better as months go by. These are just four of the shots that were featured and I really like them a lot and the way that the guys printed them. If you can get a copy of Wooden Toy Magazine, do yourself a favour. If not, just go skating and have fun.

Backing up client photos I found this one shot later last year of a guy pouring melted steel that I photographed. Just seeing it I remember how hot it was and how scared I was that the steel would splash onto me. Was quite a fun shoot to be on. I like the guys look.

Been working at Nationwide Airlines A LOT lately. Been really strenuous but got to shoot a cool photo of the head office on tuesday as the sun was setting. This was the night that snow fell in JHB. I like it.

I shot some stuff for my friends over at Soviet Jeans and they are going to be run as adverts in the True Love Babe Magazine. They are for a competition they are running on their skinny jeans. I have shown them as is as well as crops of how I like them best. I am so grateful that they are giving me a chance to shoot stuff for them. Gooooooo skinny’s.

Hahaha, I had to just put this up cause this was one of the funniest things I ever had to shoot. Everything was reflecting wrong and it was absolute madness. Eventually I had flashes under the table and ones with tinfoil in my hand and then eventually figured it all out. The final result is awesome but I cannot show it yet as it was for a client but these two are of the process in working.

As I mentioned before a few weeks back, I have started shooting for SOVIET and again I am going to add that I love working with them. Really the coolest people with great minds and amazing ideas. I shot their new POP which is currently in print and will be going into stores stocking their eyewear range and thought I should post one of the images. It is slightly cropped but I am just happy with the way it turned out so had to put it up here. There is a lot more to this shot than can be seen immediately. Basically, the glasses were shot on a crash test dummy but we didn’t like the way the shirt sat on the dummy so we shot the same position on a lady model and then edited the two together. Looking forward to working more with these guys. Anyway, have a super day as always.

SA Fashion Week has just finished and I had quite a lot of fun shooting the event for my client. I have been to PLENTY fashion shows before but never actually shot photo’s at any of them so it was exciting doing this. The event showcased a lot of amazing stuff. Anyway, I haven’t sorted through all the pics as I am still busy dumping them onto the server but thought I would put these three up quick.

I have been shooting some stuff for Soviet and it’s been a really interesting and exciting experience. All has been going well until they asked me to shoot their fragrances. I have never shot anything see-through before and had to do this about 200 times trying all different types for backing and lighting. I like this shot quite a lot.

Ok, as random as this may seem, I have had this idea in my head to shoot my board and shoe/s together on the floor for some time. It really has been something I keep thinking about at a weird and inconvenient time so it just hasn’t happened yet. Anyway, this is it, finally and I like it. Just my board and shoes shot with natural light on a rough concrete floor and my trusty 50mm lens. It’s simply just skateboarding.

I had to shoot these photographs for my client at Soda Designs and really really loved the way this entrance looked. This is the way you are welcomed at the offices of Pure. It’s just so warming. I like.

I shot some photographs the other day for my client (Browns of Rivonia) as they are having a 4 page feature article on them in the British Airways inflight magazine coming out in February 2007. These are just some of the images that I took that day. I love love love the food at Browns.
