I had a promo shoot with the guys from Rio just over a week ago and the guys have just relaunched their MySpace page and it looks super cool. They have used one of the photos that I shot of the 5 of them as the main header so I have taken a screen grab of it which you can see below. Wow, I just double checked and it has really been a long while since I updated on here the live shows that I have been shooting of late. I am trying to do them in batches purely because I have a whole blog dedicated to my music photography and you can check that out on www.londonbandphotography.co.uk and I will do my best to update that as I go along.

The last few weeks have been amazing and have really reminded me why I love music so much. I have shot some really cool promo photos with bands that are definitely on their way up and I will be releasing those photographs when the bands are ready with those. In the mean time, here are a few photographs from some of the live shows that I have shot for either print / online magazines, band pr or the actual bands themselves. All were amazing for sure.

I hope that you are all well. I just have to add that I went to Marks & Spencers and Sainsburys earlier today and I am SO excited at how much stuff they already have for Halloween. Bound to be a good time.

A few months back I did a promo shoot with Jelluzz for his single “It’s My City” which has just dropped. I had a lot of fun on the shoot and Jelluzz was really cool to work with and seeing his music video now for the new track, it feels exciting to know that I was involved. To launch the single he has revamped his MySpace and I took a screen grab to show how it looks with one of my photo’s in there. I have also attached 3 other photo’s from the shoot that I really like.

Definitely check him out, I think he is going to be huge.

Today, 13 September 2009, marks the one year (n)anniversary for my beautiful girl and I. It has been an incredible year and a LOT has gone on and it really has seemed to have flown by. Anyway, I know that this is probably really cheesy and I never do stuff like this but I wanted to shoot a photo of us so that we can have a memory of today. I shot this silhouette quick in our lounge and its quite cool.

Happy nanniversary my love. Here is to so many happy more. I love you. x

A little earlier this year I shot photographs and wrote a live review of The Gaslight Anthem’s show at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town and I just noticed now that they have quoted me on their MySpace which I thought was really cool because I love these guys and it was so cool working with them. Below is a screen grab of the piece on their MySpace and then a photo of Brain Fallon rocking out during the live show. Check them out if you don’t know them. Like I have said before, they will make you want to roadtrip right now.

I am currently working with a really cool company that is going to represent my band photography specifically in Germany after they contacted me a few weeks back. They are busy uploading some of my passed work but I have a bunch of new and exciting projects that will be going up as time carries on. I am quite excited about this.
