A bunch of us went to shoot photographs in New Town this morning. I will post a bunch of photographs a little later after I take the misses for lunch but I just wanted to put this one up of my buddy Simon. He was our bouncer for the morning.
My friend Simon has FINALLY started his own photography blog after way too long. I was looking at it this morning and it was so rad to see some of his stuff. One of his posts was from when he came to shoot photos of me shooting photos with the Revolution boys skateboarding in the drains in Roodepoort. He has a photo of me shooting this photo below. Wow, how good am I? SO many posts in so little time. Really feeling shooting again and my mind is really thinking of stuff to shoot. The moon is looking nice tonight and Anja messaged me to have a look at it so I took a picture incase you might have missed it. It is a little blurry but shooting at 1000mm is crazy without a tripod. Haha, don’t ask.

Ok, this is the last post for today. I wanted to play a bit at the dam but Anja was super cold, sore and tired from boating all day so I dragged her out only for a bit. I wanted to try something but it didn’t quite work and I didn’t want her to get cold so this was the only shot I did. It is quite rad though and she looks super cool. Cute hey!
I shot these two photographs on Easter sunday. It was super good to spend it with the family and just relax it for a bit. Hope you all had some sort of a break.
Everytime we drive to the dam, Anja carries on and on (in a good way) about how much Cosmos there is growing at the moment and I always promise to shoot it and I don’t because we run out of time. This weekend was again one of those times except I shot two photographs quick. I didn’t have all my gear with me so they aren’t really the best but I do like them. Cosmos are rad.
My friends from Harris Tweed are currently in studio working hard on their new album so today we went passed to see how it is going and shoot some photographs. It’s all sounding bloody amazing as imaginable so this blog is to wish them good luck with the rest of their time on this.
We are shooting the new album photographs quite soon so I will keep you posted on them as we go along.
Last set of band photographs I am going to post from Coke Fest, I never really expected much from the Good Charlotte crew but they definitely proved me wrong and I found myself tapping my feet to the music. They were tight and really good at what they do. Always a good thing to witness.
As grumpy as this may sound, I really don’t enjoy shooting photographs of bands playing in the day but it is true. For this reason, I only shot a few of the guys from Kaiser Chiefs.
Instead I just sat back and enjoyed the sounds for a change. They were as fun to watch as their music is to listen. Not sure what else to say besides “Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby”. 
Ok, the long weekend is over and family time has been put in so now I can look through my photographs from the weekend and try and post some of the ones I like. 30 Seconds to Mars also played on friday at the Coke Fest and they were super rad. They are headed up by Jared Leto and he definitely knows how to put on a good live show with plenty crowd involvement. My friend Keli loves him to bits and it would’ve been so rad if she was with me to rock it.
Ahhh, a fun day.
