It has been a while but I shot a few photographs for Soviet today that they are going to use for an in-store banner. They are working on it quite a lot to make it look old and rugged but I thought I would post one of the ones I liked the most.

I forgot I shot this photograph when I was last in Cape Town and saw it now and really liked it. I remember how nervous I was parking on the bridge at night and shooting so I never stayed long. I really wish it was safer here to try this out more.

I have been photographing a collection of Antiques for a private collector and I really liked these two tea pots so decided to post them. It made me laugh of the first time I saw the skits from Corne’ and Twakkie.

I shot these photographs a really long time ago of Cindy Nell shooting for a music video. I really forgot about them and was backing up my drives today and saw them and wanted to post these two cause I thought they were quite cool. I never ever saw the music video but it was for a local artist named Llewellyn or something like that.

I shot a conversation styled article with JP Du Preez that is featured in the current issue of Session Skateboarding Magazine. I love shooting with JP and just hanging out with him, he is one of my favourite skateboarders ever, and honestly one of the nicest guys ever. No one has more fun on a board than him and it’s amazing just watching him do what he does. Go buy the magazine now, it’s really a rad issue and goes off shelves in the next few days. Anyway, these are the photo’s that are featured of him as well as a few that I really like. Keep an eye out for JP, he’s going to make it huge.

I shot photos yesterday for my friends from the band Harris Tweed. I had an idea a while back for a shoot that I wanted to do with them but I have been so worried that it wouldn’t work out the way I had imagined. Anyway, yesterday we gave it a bash and I really like the results a lot. These are just a few of the favourites but there are a lot more that work well too.

Tonight was the Night of 1000 Drawings evening and it was really awesome. The guys really do put together an amazing event for a good cause. I contributed 6 photographs again but they were put together in a rush which I don’t feel good about as I really wanted to shoot something unique just for the event. Anyway, these are the six and they were all shot on my trip to Taiwan at the beginning of last year when I went to visit the misses as she was teaching English there for the year. SUCH an amazing place.

Haha, I shot some more photos just for the hell of it yesterday with Uncle Rudi. The skate one is really cool and I kind of like the portrait one too. It was just a spur of the moment to turn around and flash him in the face so the flash I was holding in my hand is quite a bit overexposed but it does look quite cool anyway.

NOFX is currently touring South Africa thanks to the guys from Punk Safari. I went to the show last night and it really brought back a lot of good memories from when I was younger and just getting into skateboarding with my friends. These guys have been playing together for basically as long as I have been alive for. Crazy.

I like this photo a lot. It’s not of anyone running around going crazy on stage but it really makes me feel excited about live shows.
